I'm probably not the best person to ask this question since I bought these for my wedding candy bar and of course didn't get any! So I guess they were good since ALL my candy went.Was a little surprised when I got them that they weren't the real NERDS brand like they kinda lead you to believe. But over all very happy, no one could tell when they are in a jar
