WARM WEATHER SHIPPING:
In the USA during the summer and other hot times of the year, be careful to select faster shipping methods like "2 Business Days Delivery" or "3 to 4 Business Days Delivery" when purchasing meltable products. Meltable products include chocolates, taffy, and gummy candies. To prevent melting, the highest temperature during time in transit for the entire shipment travel path should be less than 80°F/26°C. Our warehouse is located in the Los Angeles area of California.

During times of hot weather, CandyWarehouse.com modifies the available shipping methods to make sure you receive your product in good shape. All orders containing meltable items ( generally chocolate, taffy, gummy, wax and sugar free candy products ) must choose either next day or 2 day express shipping. As always, CandyWarehouse.com is passing along our discounted shipping rates from UPS. You can also help by shipping to a business address if possible. These generally ( but not always ) receive shipments earlier in the day and have someone there to receive the package. If you ship to a residence and the UPS driver determines, in his or her opinion, it is not safe to leave the package, then they won't! The package will then go back in the truck to most likely melt. And if they do leave the package, it may sit in the hot outdoors until retrieved by you.... possibly melted! It is best to leave a note for your delivery people letting them know to put your package in the shade if it is left outside. Please let your product sit at room temperature if it has been in hot conditions. This will allow any product that may have gotten soft to return to normal.
