Butterfinger

Butterfinger, now manufactured by the Ferrara Candy Company, was a candy bar invented in 1923 by Curtiss Candy Company owner, Otto Schnering, and it was literally launched in midair into the general public via a marketing campaign where this and other chocolate bars were dropped from airplanes over cities to promote new products. Ironically, it was the general public who crowned this new creation, the Butterfinger candy bar, in a contest to choose the best name. Over the years, this iconic treat has had an on-again, off-again relationship with the TV series, the Simpsons, but has never lost its charm to those who love its crispy, peanut buttery layers covered in rich chocolate. Since its inception, the bar has recently transformed with a new recipe containing no hydrogenated oils, TBHQ, artificial preservatives, artificial colors, or flavors!

New Butterfinger candy releases like the decadent Dark Chocolate version or the new Naked, which has just a thin underlayment of luscious chocolate holding it together, are just some of the new forms of this crispy candy bar creation. Candy Warehouse has Regular and Giant-Sized Bars, Butterfinger bites, BB's, Peanut Butter Cups, Crisps, Holiday Bells and Mini Sized for Halloween, as well as five-pound bags of crushed candies for convenient use in recipes like Blondies, Brownies, Pretzel Bars, Crispy Treats, and Gluten-Free cookies! "Break out of the ordinary" and treat yourself to something crispety, crunchety, and peanut-buttery good!
