Brach’s candy began with an American dream in 1904 when Emil J. Brach invested his $1,000 life savings into a candy store in Chicago, Illinois. What started as a “one kettle” operation making caramels with his sons, grew over the years into a company known as “America’s Candy Maker,” and into one of the most recognized candy brands in the world.
