Roald Dahl’s literary work has shaped childhoods for generations. These days, it’s hard to imagine a world without the whimsical tale that we’ve all come to know and love. Published back in 1964, the book captured the attention of both adults and children. The idea of taking a fantasy trip through a candy factory was too exciting to ignore. Since the book’s release, there have been a couple of ‘Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory' films, most notably Tim Burton’s 2005 musical version. What’s more, we can now get cool Wonka Candy to eat the treats mentioned in the book.

Fancy taking your pick of some wondrously magical Wonka Candy? If you always dreamed about heading to the chocolate factory as a child, now’s your chance to try some of the book’s infamous treats. Picture yourself finding that all-important golden ticket hidden beneath the wrapper of a Wonka bar. The excitement bubbles up from your stomach and makes you feel dizzy with glee. It doesn’t end there. You can also get amazing Gobstoppers, just like the ones that the children are asked to steal in the book! Would you be daring enough to take one back to the spies? If that’s not for you, wrap your lips around some tasty chewing gum inspired by the story. Here at Candy Warehouse, we have the nostalgic candy that your dreams are made of. Why not shop our fun and whimsical selection now and find something that will make you skip with joy?

Fun Fact: It’s hard to think of the famous film without recalling Willy Wonka. Believe it or not, the character doesn’t show up until 43 minutes into the classic movie. In the first film version of ‘Charlie and The Chocolate Factory’, the scenes that stick in your head, such as the chocolate river and sorting room, happen late on. It’s remarkable to think that these parts of the movie made such a huge impression that we forget about the rest of it!
